Dear Parents/Guardians,

The City of Kawartha Lakes have informed us that construction on Wychwood Crescent will begin on Monday, April 1st 2019 and will continue throughout the remainder of the school year.  Conversations with CKL indicate this project will involve significant digging and drilling; the installation of drainage pipes, culverts and natural gas lines.

The construction will impact our current school operations, particularly before and after school.  As always the safety of our students, staff and community is our priority.

As of Monday, April 1st vehicles will no longer be able to park along Wychwood (directly in front of the school) at any time during the day.

We are asking that all walkers and parents that drop off and pick up students do so at the trail on Ellice Street.  We will have a staff member at the beginning of the trail to meet families from 8:45-9:05 and again from 3:20-3:40

Students that are late arriving to school will be asked to walk along the path and check in at the office with a parent.

If you have an appointment during the day, one entrance to the school will be open (you will need to park in the bus lane) where you can enter the school through the main doors.

We understand that this will be an inconvenience to our entire school community.  We ask that you work with us and bring any questions or concerns to our attention so that we can problem solve in a productive way.  As stated earlier, safety is our number one priority and we endeavor, as always, to provide a safe learning and working environment for our students and staff.
