This year’s Evan Luker Run took place on October 8.
The annual event at Macaulay Public School has been running since 1985 and honours a former student, Evan, who tragically passed away at the age of nine in a car accident. His father, Art, always describes him as a young boy who loved to be active, running, and climbing while playing with his friends. He was in attendance at the run and thanked everyone for attending, running, and encouraged everyone to have fun.
Roughly 500 Grade 1 to 8 students from 10 local schools throughout south Muskoka participated.
